This year’s Brain Awareness Week theme, ‘Focus on the Brain’ reminds us of just how amazing our brains are and how important it is to look after them. It’s never too late, or too early to start looking after our brain, as we can build reserve in our brain, protect it from ‘wear and tear’ and potentially decrease our risk of developing dementia.
We will be encouraging people across the country to take steps to protect their brain health and reduce their risk of developing some types of dementia.
