We welcome anyone who wants to visit for a cuppa or join in our activities when our shed is open. Our shed is blessed to have very active talented members who are willing to share their skills in woodwork, mechanics, bikes, video making, furniture refurbishment. etc. Joyce Country is a cultural region of North Connemara and an area of South Mayo. Most of our members come from Clonbur, Cloughbrack, Cornamona and Maam Valley areas. Our shed is in Cornamona / Corr na Mona. We are involved in and developing many activities and skills. Classes were held on basket weaving, woodturning, manual handling, basic IT, Health and Wellbeing, Red Cross CFR course plus Men’s Health. Community projects included making and erecting signs for Clonbur Parkrun, making and erecting lunch huts for local anglers on Lough Corrib, refurbishing furniture for the local community and making a special revolving barrel composter, mounted on a frame.
