Setting up a Men’s Shed: A public open meeting in Ballina, Co. Mayo.

In response to the need expressed locally a public meeting will take place in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Abbey Street, Ballina on Thursday 24th November at 7.30pm with a view to establishing a Community Men’s Shed in the area.   The meeting will be attended by those who have been involved in setting up the Irish Men’s Sheds Association.

All are welcome.

So if you want to get involved in the Ballina Men’s Shed or are interested in starting one in your area, then you may find this a very useful meeting.

The Irish Men’s Sheds Association describes itself as founded on the principle of sharing information freely between Sheds and those communities and organisations wishing to establish a Shed.

The process of setting up a men’s shed in Ballina has been initiated by Ballina Family Resource Centre, the HSE and the local Lions Club.
