In September 2011, Louth Community Men’s Shed was launched by Micheál O’Muirecheartaigh in Seatown, Dundalk. Since then, the ‘Shed Men’ have brought their Dundalk Shed to life through woodturning, carpentry, painting, photography…the list goes on… and so do these inspiring shedders who have grown in number to more than 50 with the support of Eva Beirne from the Netwell Centre, Dundalk Institute of Technology and the Louth Age Friendly County Initiative. This project is funded by the International Fund for Ireland (IFI) under the Building foundations programme for community based economic and social regeneration.
