‘Build Your Own Propagator’ Class With Tanguy de Toulgoët Now Online
‘Build Your Own Propagator’ class with Tanguy de Toulgoët is now online.
Tanguy, who owns and runs the Dunmore Country School in Durrow, Co. Laois, joined us on Wednesday 3 February. Tanguy is truly knowledgeable about gardening and considers that a propagator is the most important piece of equipment in a garden. The propagator he describes is a heated one as opposed to a cold frame and is quite elaborate, having taken 20 years for Tanguy to devise. He covers topics such as the best place to build your propagator and the materials needed, the benefits of your propagator, seed germination and the care of seedlings.
We would like to thank Tanguy for donating his time and expertise – you can find out more about Dumore Country School on its fascinating website here. The school also runs online classes on beekeeping, how to build a garden from scratch, polytunnels and French – something for everyone!
