Longford County Network Meeting

Our Longford County Network meeting was held in the Rathmhuire & Dolmen community Centre in Granard last week. We were welcomed by Mr Eamonn McIntyre, Chairman of the Rath Mhuire Men’s Shed and by shed volunteer Pamela Dolan.

The Network was well attended with men from Rathmhuire & Dolmen, joined by their follower shedders from; Drumlish Men’s Shed, Dromard Men’s Shed, Killoe Men’s Shed, Granard Men’s Shed, and Longford Town’s Men’s Shed.

A presentation on the Grant to support Men’s Sheds was followed by a lively questions & answers session.

Conor McGrath from LWETB presented the Rath Mhuire Shedders with their Level 3 Health & Safety Awareness Certificate. Congratulations to all the shedders involved in this training.

Thanks to Stephan McNally from Longford Sports Partnership who highlighted and explained all the current programs that are available to older adults in the Longford area.
