Beating the Bounds for the Men’s Shed

The Rector of Wexford and Kilscoran, the Revd Maria Jansson, will be walking the boundaries of the nine parishes of the Union beginning 29th May – June 4th, a journey of about 110k by road.  This ancient practice was to mark the boundaries of the parish and was undertaken by priests and people.

This walk is in support of the Men’s Shed movement that is taking off in Wexford.

Donations can be given at 3 pm at the following start off points.

• Sunday 29th            St Iberius at 3 p.m. to Castlebridge
• Monday 30th           Castlebridge 3 p.m. to Killurin
• Tuesday 31st           Killurin at 3 p.m.  to Taghmon and Horetown
• Wednesday 1st       Horetown at 3 p.m. to Bannow
• Thursday 2nd          Bannow at 3 p.m. to Mulrankin
• Friday 3rd                Mulrankin at 3 p.m. to Kilscoran
• Saturday 4th            Kilscoran at 3 p.m. to Killinick and St Iberius
