Setting up a Men’s Shed: A public open meeting in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.

In response to the need expressed locally a public meeting will take place in the Taylor Centre, Main St, Carrigtwohill, which is located across from the Carrigtwohill Community Centre on Thursday 10th November at 7pm with a view to establishing a Community Men’s Shed in the area. The meeting will be attended by a number of those who have been involved in setting up the Irish Men’s Sheds Association.

The Irish Men’s Sheds Association describes itself as founded on the principle of sharing information freely between Sheds and those communities and organisations wishing to establish a Shed.

The process of setting up a men’s shed in Carrigtwohill has been initiated by Cluid Housing Association and Carrigtwohill Family Resource Centre.
