Drogheda Men’s Shed – Award Design selected for ‘The Tweeties’.
The
As a result of this initiative, The Digital Times recently invited the IMSA to submit a prototype design for their annual ‘Tweeties Awards’ ceremony. Twitter is now one of the fastest growing social networks in the world and The Tweeties is an awards ceremony to celebrate the very best of Ireland and Irish people on Twitter and this ceremony is scheduled to be held in Dublin this October.
The brief given to the IMSA was to produce an imaginative and creative award incorporating the # tag symbol in a medium of their choice. The IMSA are delighted to announce that the prototype produced and designed by the Drogheda Men’s Shed (Louth Community Men’s Sheds) has been selected by Stephen Conmy, Editor, The Digital Times as their award for this year’s ceremony. At the moment it’s all hands on deck in the Shed in Drogheda, as they are in the middle of producing the 25 awards that are to be presented on the night for the various categories. I would like to congratulate all members of the Drogheda Men’s Shed involved, in making this project such a success and to thank the Sheds who put forward their award prototypes for selection.
