We are taking orders for Dunfanaghy currachs to raise funds for Skibbereen Men’s Shed.

These are 16.5 foot, traditionally built two man fishing boats from Donegal. They are designed to carry up to half a ton of fish or passengers, dogs and camping stuff! We built some for ourselves last year, enjoyed many adventures in them and can highly recommend their seaworthiness.

Handcrafted from hazel, deal and tarred nylon, our currachs represent both an iconic artefact from Irish history and a delightfully practical boat for sport and leisure today!
